I had to adjust a few of my pages to meet the requirements of the challenge but that's okay.... it's all in the name of learning and stretching oneself. I've had sooooooo much scrapping fun this month.

GDD - January Monthly kit

 Shannel from GoneDigital Designs has a new kit out today... sneaking in this January Monthly kit whilst it is still January..hehehe. I love the bright colours (though yellow is not my favouritest colour to scrap!). It sure makes scrapping easy when you have good matching photos for the kit.

The Lilypad - Other January challenges

Call me crazy, but on top of all the MOC9 challenges I am doing this month, there are a few designer challenges at The Lilypad that I have done too. Some I even managed to combine with other challenges, others were standalone.

First up was Scrapping With Liz Make it Slowly - this happens on the first Saturday of the month. I've done a few of these in the past and then promptly forgot to check for a few months and so missed a few. Goal this year is to do most of them.

I also did the SWL blog challenge this month - this one I combined with the MOC9-6 challenge as well.

Next up was the Pink Reptile Design's challenge to use a sketch. I combined this one with the recipe challenge at PixelScrappers.

Then Lynn Grieveson had a colour palette challenge. I did The Studio LAD01-16 layout for this challenge.

I did the layout for Little Butterfly Wings template challenge for the LAD01-18 challenge

Lastly I did the Sahlin Studio template challenge - I used the MOC9-23 interview challenge for this one.

These have been fun to do in between the MOC9 challenges too. Will try tackle some more next month.

NGD - Priorities

 Did you manage to get all your priorities set this month. The first month of the year is nearly over already...but the fun is only just beginning!

The Digital Press - January 2021 challenges

Last year the challenges at The Digital Press were pretty hit and miss... mostly just template challenges and usually only 2 a month. This year they have changed things up slightly and there will be six challenges each month. Each challenge is run by a separate designer and if you use their products on their challenge you can win a voucher for their store. If you complete all six challenges in the month you also go into a draw to win a TDP store voucher.... great incentive to get scrapping.

So I have tackled the challenges and here is what I created:

The Studio - Layout a Day Winter Cabin

 I found The Digital Scrapbooking Studio last year and have followed some of the posts for a while. I did add layouts there when on the CT for Blue Heart Scraps and Connie Prince during 2020 but haven't really done much else. Well one of the emails I got earlier this month mentioned a forum challenge called Layout-A-Day Winter Cabin.... it runs for two weeks (6th to 24th Jan) and every day that you do a layout you get a part of a kit. 

Sooooooooo naturally I plunged right in and did a few layouts. You can use kits and templates from anywhere, which is great as I then get to do a few other challenges at the same time.

Another layout using Cornelia Designs WinterWinterGoAway kit. I played a bit with the papers for this one to create the mottled leafy background for the challenge - an interesting technique indeed

The pressure has been on with these challenges as you have to make and post each layout within 24 hours of the challenge being announced. It has kept me on my toes indeed. Glad I have managed to stick with it and get it all done!

The Lilypad - MOC9 - Week 3

It's been another week of fun challenges at The Lilypad MOC9 forum... I've stretched myself and learnt a few new things this week. Some of these layouts were easy to put together, others took a bit of thinking power even though it might not look like it.

Cornelia Designs - Currently: Listening

 It's new release day at The Digital Press and Cornelia has a lovely new collection called Currently: Listening available.

This kit is so full of all things music that it will be a perfect kit for lots of layouts... perfect teenager sort of kit for now too. I have a few more layouts planned with this so will be sharing them in the next few days I am sure.

NGD - Titanium Kit

We all have moments when we need a little encouragement. The sentiments in today's kit on offer from NiniGoesDigi is the perfect one... being strong like Titanium.

I have made this layout using the template provided for NiniGoesDigi template challenge this month... such a great template for the start of 2021.
