I've just been doing some reading and catching up on my favourite blogs.... saw all about Donna's and Wilna's trip to SA for the convention... and then found Scrappin' Times has a new blog too.... I met Jacki through being a volunteer at this year's convention... what absolute fun!! Anyway I've now added her to my favourites list too! When I get a chance during this week I will upload some of my photos from the convention (or should I say Gayle's photos?... as mine didn't come out too great and I eventually gave up!)

Other news from today.... it's my Mom's birthday and I got to talk to her on the phone... nothing new there you might say but it was extra special as my folks are in SWITZERLAND at the moment on a three week holiday... and as part of my Mom's birthday treat they were going to go on the Chocolate Express today... such fun!

I spent the rest of the day scrapping with Gayle, Judi and Theresa... along with Dani (Gayle's son) and Aaron playing in the background (when they weren't bored and bugging their mothers!). I'm chuffed with what I did... four singles and one double page... will show you some day... patience please.

I'm getting there

I'm slowly but surely getting the hang of this new blog... been adding bits and pieces to it... just playing around in general.... will try and add photos and layouts soon too... just see how it all pans out.

I made it...

I've made the move and decided to have a proper blog where you my friends can now comment! hehehe... my old site is still up and I don't think I will discontinue it for a while... might just move some of the content over here... anyway if you want to read my blog from the last 18 months, go to http://www.scrapbook.com/places/CathySanders.
