Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 297

It's Monday again... where oh where is the time going?  May is nearly over and winter is slowly creeping in... makes for great scrapping weather (when I get the chance!)

This week we have two great sketches once again at Scrapbook Challenges.

I did a layout using the single page this week.

The photos are from Keith's birthday last year.

Scrapbook Challenges - new challenge

I am running a challenge this week at Scrapbook Challenges.... all about Family.  Please come check it out, join in and have fun.

Our month of May on the forum has been all about FAMILY. For today's challenge I want you to scrap about your family in some fun way. The only must-have requirement is that the word FAMILY must appear somewhere on your layout - in the title, journaling or even as an embellishment.

Here is my layout as an example:

This layout is about my best friend and her son. The photos were taken on Mother's Day a few year back.

For an added bonus, why not handmake all your embellishments? .... I did hand stitching, doodled, stamped butterflies, punched flowers and even made some folded flowers.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 296

A new week with an absolutely gorgeous sketch with Scrapbook Challenges.

I chose to do the single page with a few changes...

This layout is all about our all night scrapping session on New Years Eve.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch #295

Wow where is the time going?  I blink and it's Monday again!!!  And of course Monday's mean a new sketch from Scrapbook Challenges. (Ok so today is Tuesday but it's still time for a new sketch & layout).

I chose to do a layout about the flowers in my garden... and because I don't scrap single photos too often, I made a collage picture for this page.

Thehexagonal patterned paper for this page was from a Scrapkits kit a while back that I ended up not using... decided then already that I wanted to use it for this page!

It's Monday.... back to school and work for us after our lovely week's holiday..... more about that in another post (I hope!).

Scrapbook Challenges - NSD Blog Hop Weekend
