My latest batch of completed kits

I've been slowly working my way through some kits and notes and have completed a few more in the last few weeks:

A page from MandM Scrapbooking Adventures - repurposed in different colours

This is a class that I did with Michelle van Wyk in December last year... eventually found an event with enough photos to fill the booklet.

The following are all from Scrapkits - some the actual kit with a few tweaks and others redone in my own papers.

This one is actually a four page layout... here is page 1&2

This is page 3&4

Turned this very girly sewing kit into a lovely unisex one... just using different papers and embellishments

This one is by Sharon Coetzee that I got as a freebie from Scrapbook 'n Things on the retreat.

So added a few more pages to my growing list of layouts done this year... still a long way off my goal of a layout a day but am making inroads into it.... done over 200 pages so far.

Kits by the fireside

Winter scrapping in front of the TV next to the roaring fire is a great way to spend an evening. These are some of the kits that I've done in the last few months.
A kit by Michelle van Wyk
A Scrapbook 'n Things kit

These next ones are all from Scrapkits, altered to suit

and look what I dug out of my old stash.... this page was given to me years back from someone overseas (sorry can't remember who)... it has sat around all this time waiting for me to get beautiful fall photos for it... which I got at Wyndford in May.

So that's a few more to cross off my to do list.

Completed kits

Over the past few months I've managed to complete some kit pages and catch up on some scrapping.

The January Bonus kit from M&M Scrapbooking Adventures caught my eye... I love working with school papers.

I actually bought this kit before school started this year, so I knew how many photos to take on that first morning... hehehe.  This page came together so well.

This one was from the M&M Adventures retreat last year

This next one was a set of class notes I bought a while back from The Scrapping Studio - it was for a mini album on the page.... quite a complicated thing to figure out at first, but works so very well.

Another one from The Scrapping Studio:

Wow, this next one goes waaaaaayyyyyy back to an ISE convention at which I volunteered.  Loved the page then but was waiting for some perfect photos... these are of my niece.

Just a smattering of some of the backlog of kits that I have to do still.

Catch up post

I've been going through my list of layouts that I created this year to see which ones I've posted and which not... so here are some of the ones that you haven't seen yet.

This first layout is a scraplift of a page I saw a few years back at ScrapGirls.com

I saw this layout at The Scrapping Studio and just knew I had to do one myself.

Two/three years after making this layout by Michelle van Wyk I eventually found photos to do it justice.

A kit from M&M Adventures... I did this one a few months back but only finished it this past week when I got the class photo from school.

This layout is also a scraplift.  It has two flaps that move to reveal lots more photos.

I also had fun creating this gorgeous layout (can I say that?)  I've had this paper mini album in my stash for a few years now... and now it's done.

The following layouts are from my 2009 album... trying very hard to finish off that year.

This last layout includes some stitching that I discovered how to do after reading Cathy Lane's blog... must admit it was effective, but not something I will do again in a hurry... took me over 3 hours!

and to end off this long post, two layout that include bicycles from Enmarc.

Thanks for sticking with me to the end... hope you enjoyed the feast of layouts.
