I have been scrapping LOTS this month... it's the first month this year where I have actually met my target of a layout a day.... in fact I even surpassed that... I have created 22 doubles and 11 single layouts this month... a total of 33 layouts which equates to 55 pages. WOW!!!
I also looked up my past tally of layouts and this is the most I have EVER done in a month. In 2011 I managed 53 in one month. There have been a few months when I've done over 40 in a month but it's usually 20 or less. Feels good to be so productive again.
Here are just two of the layouts that I did.. Others have been shared already, or will be coming in August as they were for DT commitments.
My last four double pages I made this weekend still need to have their photos edited and printed, but they are all planned and scrapped.
Hopefully I will be able to repeat this feat in August, or at least come close. It feels sooooooo good to accomplish so much this month.

Sketch N Scrap online crop
I joined this facebook page in May I think it was and took part in their birthday crop. Well they are holding another crop now July and I did two layouts using the sketches provided.
For the first layout I decided to mix up my title using lots of different stickers... this is similar to something I saw from Elle Studio who were selling a title pack of different stamps, stickers and acrylic words to use for titles
I really am happy with both these pages..two more ticked off on my long to do list of layouts.

My second layout I used some Kaisercraft papers and stickers to use up some of my vast stash. It took me two days just to figure out a title... yikes! Some layouts just have an automatic title and others take some dithering.

ScrapPlezier - Really?
My next layout is up on the blog today...
I got my hands on a leftover piece of the new BombaySunset paper and decided to use this as my starting point in creating my layout. I chose matching papers from Kaisercraft Fly Free Collection - Bestie andBF to add strips to my layout. Once my photo was added, I cut out the flowers from the Bombay Sunset - Daybreak paper and added them to my page. I also used a few piece of teal and pink cardstock to pick up the colours from the papers. My title I cut out on my Silhouette machine an then added a few sprinkles of bling to finish off the page.
Be inspired to mix and match. Come play along with us at ScrapPlezier.

Scrap Affairs competition layouts
In one of the last issues of Scrap Affairs there was a competition for layouts using sewing and stamping. I decided to make a few different pages and submitted them in... holding thumbs.
All these pages were inspired by layouts I saw on pinterest but that I put my own spin and interpretation on. I love how they all turned out.

Finally finished 2013
I decided that last week I was going to finish all my layouts for my 2013 albums..... so I was like a man on a mission... scrap, scrap, scrap every chance I got and yesterday I did my last layout. So feast your eyes on all of these...9 doubles and 3 singles.
This first one was from a Scrapkits layout that I had planned but didn't have the paper anymore. Used some Celebr8 papers instead.
Another one using one of the new range of Celebr8 papers
The next few are all Jowilna layouts that I have adapted to suit my style (and stash)
These next two are from Let's Scrap Sketches
And this last one is one designed by Lara at Scrapbook and Things.
So there you have them all... nicely scrapped. Now for my next mission of actually getting them all filed away in the albums.

Let's Scrap Sketches - 15 July
The new sketch is up today....
This is the sketch we used...
I changed things up a little by adding more photos on the right hand page and I left off the top border strip. That's the great thing about sketches.. they are the starting point and you can adapt them to suit.
I used a set of Elle Studio papers that I got from Jeaunes for my layout... they were such fun to work with.
Come play along on the blog and see what the rest of the team made.

July scrapping with Jowilna
I've spent the last week doing a whole bunch of Jowilna layouts... some in class and the rest at home. It's so nice to complete pages and to be able to showcase them here.
Each of these pages started off with the sketch and idea from Jowilna and then ended up with my own little touches on them... extra photos, changed embellishments, different papers.... in fact scraplifting Jow's layouts and using her techniques is soooooooo much fun. Off to find a few more to do.

Stick It Down - July single page
Though I'm not on the single page team for Stick It Down, I liked the sketch so much that I had to make a layout.
I used a cut file from Paper Issues for my background and then added some perfect peals to the dark areas. I cut my title out on my Silhouette Curio as well before adding some stash flowers and journal strips.
Head over to the blog to see what the Single Page DT did.

ScrapPlezier - Cousins
I have another layout up on the blog at ScrapPlezier today.
I took my inspiration start point from the moodboard for this month. The papers I used are from Kaisercraft Hidden Treasures Collections - Swap & Fleamarket. I also added my subtitle from my stash of Tiny Alphas. The large title and flowers are all old stash that I've had for years... trying very hard to use up what I have on hand. I add some gold bling scattered around the page and finished off the flowers with some mix and match brads.
Join us on the blog for lots more inspiration.

ScrapPlezier - July moodboard
This month's moodboard is up and it sure was inspiring to play with.
My layout is a Jowilna original design.
I used the Kaisercraft Finders Keepers Collection on my layout:-
Curio (the flowers and the pink stripe) as two strips on my page,
Treat (the yellow word paper) at the bottom to pick up the colours from the moodboard.
As an extra I used Distress Oxide ink in shades of teal and blue to do stamping on the background. The heart was done with Geli printing and the title was cut out on my Silhouette before I heat embossed it with WOW powder in peacock colours... again inspired by the colours of the moodboard. Final touches are a few buttons and stitching.

Scrap&Sell South Africa - sketch layouts
On the Facebook group Scrap&Sell South Africa, Michelle hosts a bi-weekly sketch competition... well I try my hand at it but don't always get to submit my layout on time... this time I did... yippee.
So this is using the sketch # 9. I also did Sketch # 8 at the end of June but had to wait till this week to add my photos to them.
I have got a few more layouts planned using these bi-weekly sketches so hopefully will get them scrapped soon too.

Stick It Down - July sketch
Today is the first reveal for the Double Page Team at Stick It Down...
This sketch has sooooo much potential. I used some bright colours in various leftovers pieces for the flags on the right hand page. I then chose a piece of Penelope Dee paper for my background on the left and added a whole bunch of diecut starts scattered over the two pages to tie them together.
Come play along on the blog and you could stand a chance to win a prize.

Let's Scrap Sketches - 1 July
It's been a quiet two weeks on my blog... simply because I've been sick and not up to scrapping or blogging. But now I am feeling much better and it's time to get caught up. Yesterday the new sketch was revealed for Let's Scrap.
I played with my distress oxide inks to create my circles and then used Lady Pattern Paper for the rest. I also diecut my title out of some of the inked paper. I stamped some cogs in the background too just for added detail and then lastly added some buttons.
Come play along all month on the blog and you could win a gift certificate prize.
