I've taken it slow this month getting my layouts done for the Gingerscraps challenges. Done them little by little and some I've already shared. Here is what I made:

So happy that I finally managed to finish the 10 challenges needed to get the free kit... this is about the only way I can afford to grow my stash at the moment. There are sooooooooooo many lovely kits on sale each week but I truly can't afford to keep buying. Have to hold myself back. At least there are lots of designers who give out little freebies too so I don't totally feel like it's a drought. Plus I have 100s of kits on my hard drive that I've yet to use so am sure never to run of of digi stash!

 

The Lilypad - May2020 challenges

I haven't done a lot of these challenges this month but am happy with the few I did get done. I need to priortise each month and figure out which ones are doable with the stash I have on hand. I am trying very hard not to keep buying more kits, especially as our exchange rate is so bad!

Dunia Designs - new templates

There are new templates available today by Dunia Designs in the shop at The Digital Press. These are so clean and simple that I just had to play with them.

First up is my CT layout that I made using the TheseDays kit which came out a few weeks back.

 

I also created this layout below using a different template in the set with the SweetSummer kit. I decided not to share it as a CT layout as it has tiny baby pics in it. This is just for my own pleasure and memories.

The Digital Press - May2020 challenges

The crossword section at The Digital Press is a lovely place to find challenges to complete. Each designer holds their own challenge with prizes. I've managed to put together a few this month again.

1. Nini Goes Digital - Template Challenge. I used NGD_BehindTheWheel and TDP_NewNormal kits

2. Gone Digital Designs - Template Challenge - I used GDD_FlippingPancakes kit

3. Rachel Etrog - Template challenge. I used RE_FebStories kit

4. Dawn by Design - use two alphas

Unbeknownst to me I discovered that the kit I used for the above page was designed by a different designer from another site (opps!), so I've made another layout for this challenge to meet the requirements.

This new layout now used the dbd_Enough kit with alphas from dbd_Tranquility, dbd_HappyDays and dbd_Enough

Will be fun to see what challenges come next month again.

Rachel Etrog & Dunia Designs - Sweet Summer Collab

One of the benefits of being on a design team is getting free product... how much of a bonus it is when two of the teams I'm on collaborate on a kit and I get to design pages for both of them at the same time.

Rachel Etrog - May Stories Kit

It's reveal day again at the Digital Press and Rachel Etrog has a new collection on sale called May Stories.

These photos are from my Mother's Day breakfast in bed on Sunday... sooooooooo lovely to be spoilt by my boy.

Weekend scrapping

I did a few layouts this past weekend just for fun... or rather for fun challenges at AppScrappers on facebook.

This one was for telephone scrapping... I used GoneDigital Designs HomeSchool kit.

This one is based on a sketch challenge. For this I used the NewNormal collab from The Digital Press

It was fun to do quick challenges just for the heck of it.

Dunia Designs - This Is May kit

There is a new kit available for Dunia Designs at The Digital Press today. I used it to make a layout about Mother's Day a few years back... perfect timing for Mother's Day this year, except it will be very different seeing as we are in level 4 lockdown.

GDD Homeschool Kit

GoneDigital Designs has the most gorgeous kit out today... I am sooooooo thankful I get to scrap for this team... I simply love the bright colours.

I started my layout for the slow scrap on Sunday, and then realised I couldn't use it as the kit wasn't yet released, but as I had done most of the work already I kept at it... so here is my layout combining that challenge and this awesome new kit.

iNSD at Gingerscraps

Another post about {inter}National Scrapbooking Day... I did say I had done lots of challenges (hehehe). There were about 13 challenges at Gingerscraps for iNSD but I ran out of a time tring to get to do them all... only managed to do a few in the end.

This first one is actually for a facebook sketch challenge from The Cherry on Top facebook group and not part of the official Gingerscraps challenges... but as I used a kit from them I thought I'd share it here too.

iNSD at AppScrappers

This post is really just a summary about the layouts from my last two posts for {inter}National Scrapbooking Day that I managed to get to work with the iNSD challenges at AppScrappers.

They had 17 challenges (two of which I missed as they were timed and run whilst we slept in South Africa)... and so here's what I  got done:
