Gingerscraps - January 2021 challenges

Wow I can't believe I've been doing these monthly challenges from Gingerscraps for over a year now... that's 10 challenges every month for the past year... and each month is a new kit. So nice to get more and more layouts done. Here is what I created for this month's selection:

I won this kit (Like A Blank Canvas) from Just Because Studio in a lucky draw. Also entered this in the snowman challenge at The Studio for day 3 of the LAD

There were some new challenges this month that are a nice change so I can definitely see myself doing these each month.

Just Because Studio - January Challenges

 This month is going to be HECTIC with scrapping... I found out about another set of challenges from one of my current favourite designers, Just Because Studio.... so just had to jump in with both feet.

First up JBS is having a quarterly challenge with using the kits on the $2 Tues sales. Every time you use one of the kits and share the layout you go into a draw and can be featured in the newsletter. I did one layout so far which I will share with The Studio Layout-A-Day challenges next week.

Secondly is the monthly challenges. Like last year these are run in the facebook group but this time there are four challenges each month. If you do all four you can get a free kit. Once you've done 24 challenges you get another free kit. I really like this idea so can see me doing these challenges every month. 

Here is what I managed to create for the January challenges:

I won this kit (JBS_LikeABlankCanvas) just for commenting on the sneak peak posts on facebook... boy oh boy it is filled with all sorts of lovely bits and pieces. I am really enjoying the arty things. Also entering this layout in a few challenges - Gingerscraps Back It Up and DSS LAD01-12

Design

I made this layout to also fit the LAD01-14 challenge at DSS

Journal

This layout worked perfectly for the Wordart challenge at Gingerscraps.

Rotated Template

These were really fun to do. At present there are only two other people who have shared layouts this month along with myself... sure hope that there will be a lot more participation. The designers always put so much effort into creating kits and challenges that I feel it is only right to give them some support in return. Plus I get more layouts done... hehehe.

The Lilypad - MOC9 - week 2

It's been another week of fun challenges at The Lilypad MOC9 forum... I've had to think long and hard about some of these challenges and they took me a little longer than just a day to do. But I have managed to get them all done this week still and stay on track.

Rachel Etrog - Note To Self January

 Rachel launched her newest kit today called Note To Self - January. It's a continuation of the monthly themed kits but with a few added bits in it. Great start to a new year with lots of introspection too.

Dandelion Dust Designs - Mojo Mod Jan2021

 As part of her fan page, Ginger from Dandelion Dust Design is running a new monthly set of challenges.... 13 in fact. If you do 3 challenges you get the monthly challenge freebie, if you do 5 you get an entry into the quarterly draw for a spending voucher... sounds like an incentive to scrap even more! So I took the plunge and did some of the challenges.

NGD - Unexpected

 NiniGoesDigi released a new kit on Friday called Unexpected.... sooooooooo beautiful and colourful. I just had to scrap a page showcasing the lovely papers and elements.

The Lilypad - MOC9 - week 1

It's time for the Month Of Challenges Ninth edition (MOC9) at The Lilypad. I had such fun doing these challenges last year that I decided to tackle them again. As there are 31 challenges I will break my post up into weekly bits so as not to swamp everyone.

So far I have managed to keep up and even do other challenges and DT work in between too... it's been a busy first week of the year. Let's hope that I can keep this up and complete everything I have planned.

NGD - Memorable Moments January

 Nini asked me to stay on another month as a guest of her creative team.... yippee. So I get to play with lots more lovely scrapping goodies all month. First up is today's offering for Publisher's Pick... called Memorable Moments: January

This is a great kit for capturing all those beginning of the year moments as well as setting goals and such. However I just used it for a normal everyday moment that happened in January!
