November challenges from Gingerscraps

I really enjoy the variety of challenges at Gingerscraps...there are soooooooo many on offer that the goal of doing 10 are fairly easy but somehow I seem to have ran out of oomph and time this month and only managed to get 5 done. Here is what I put together this month:

Mini kit challenge

Brush

Daily Download

Rewards

Connie Prince

For a lot of the challenges there are wonderful freebies. These together with the daily download and now the reward kit for completing 10 challenges, all help to me having more supplies to choose from each month to complete more layouts. I think my stash is growing faster than my physical scrapping stash ever did. At least it doesn't clutter up my scraproom.... just my hard drive!

November challenges at The Digital Press

I am really enjoying The Digital Press challenges and the whole site... the stash on sale is just up my street and so versatile. I have to hold myself back from spending money. A good thing I won the prize in October of each month's Collab kit for the next year... wow! These kits are chockful of lovely stash that I am sure to be using them on pages to come.

This is what I managed to complete for this month:

So I managed to do 5 of the 9 challenges again this month. Super chuffed.

Today is also Black Friday and the 5th birthday for The Digital Press... and they are having a whopping 70% off sale... needless to say I did spend a little money on their sale. Stocked up on some very pretty kits. I've got some layouts planned in my head that hopefully these purchases will be perfect for.

Catching up on layouts half done

On Sunday we had a scheduled power outage from 8am to 4pm. This gave me a few hours to be truly creative and catch up on some scrapbooking that has been sitting around for over a year.... yikes! Yip sometimes I don't finish a page in one sitting.... like these two that were started at the Candy Crop in October last year but I haven't looked at since then. Now they are finished.

Both these are Jowilna original designs... I just adapted the photo arrangements to suit but managed to stick pretty much to the layout. Am glad to have them finally done and now they can be added to their albums.

I still have two others that need to be finished but I have to get photos printed for those and am not too sure when that is likely to happen. Hopefully before the end of the year!

UnstampaBellas: Nov2019

It's time to share a new idea for Unstampabellas for this month:

This month's challenge is: Paradise Pretties and Tropical Delights
The twist to the challenge is: Into the Wild

Are you ready for a holiday... I sure am but still have nearly a month to go... at least I can dream of it with this card (not that I am much a beach person but it does look idyllic!)

I decided that a tropical island would make the perfect scene for this theme... saw this idea on pinterest and made it my own... love all the little elements that come together and create the picture.

Remember to link you entry to the post and you can win this prize:

AppScrappers challenge

On the 9th of November the facebook group AppScrappers had a whole day of challenges. I managed to complete quite a few of the list which I am glad about. Thankfully the challenges were of such a nature that I managed to use these same pages for the other digi sites for their November challenges. This is like multi-tasking I guess but in a scrapping form.

So these first few will be going into challenges at The Digital Press:

IT WAS THE PERFECT (OR NOT SO PERFECT) DAY

IT’S ALL ABOUT ME!

CHEERS
I had fun making this layout...started the photos in PL App then everything else was done in PixelLab. The background is actually two papers on top of each other with the opacity of the map page set to about 40% to that the text paper shows through... was a lightbulb aha moment when it worked!

These next a few will be submitted for Gingerscraps challenges:

I AM GRATEFUL FOR

EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE

NEW LIFE

DESTINATION: UNKNOWN

SUGAR AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE

I did this one for a challenge at The Lily Pad:

WORKIN’ FOR A LIVING!

and not forgetting about Pixel Scrapper too:

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Phew! So besides 3 (out of 13) challenges from the AppScrappers, I have done quite well I think for a week's scrapping.. even inbetween working and all. It's been lots of fun trying out new techniques and stretching my thought process to get pictures scrapped.

Sketch n Scrap - November Crop Challenge

It's monthly challenge time again at Sketch n Scrap and I have a card challenge for you.

I've used a piece of paper from Simple Stories that when I folded it looked just like the sketch that I used. I jazzed it up with some thread and quilled lightbulbs and then added some glittery washi tape to the bottom edge. A simple way to liven up some Christmas cards.

So come on over to facebook and join us for our monthly challenges.

IQCG - November moodboard

Our moodboard this month is all about giving thanks... it's a lovely thought indeed.

I made a card with lots of flowers on it and then added leaves that I got from my Mom-in-law in Canada that she had made when doing quilling. How special is that to combine two generations on one card?
Remember to tag us with #IQCG64 when you post your entry on instagram, your blog or load it on our facebook group.

Stick It Down - Double Layout - Nov2019

It's hard to believe that November is here already... This year has flown by again. At least with scrapping past years I get to slow down time just a little.

I used the lovely CocoaVanillaStudio Happiness range on my layout...love the bright colours. The page didn't need to much else so I just used some of the stickers from the range and added my title. I swopped the two sides of the sketch around as it worked better for the flow of my photos.

This is the fabulous sketch we worked with.

Be sure to check out the blog for lots more inspiration.

Sketch n Scrap - November layout

It's time to share a new layout this month using the 1st of November's sketch:

I used a "new to me" range for this layout. It's called The Timbuktu Collection by Leah-Donna, a South African designer. I haven't used these before but must say that worked so well with my travel photos.

Here is the great sketch that I used:
