Nuts About Sketches - Week 167

It's the last few days of June... the year is half way done already!  Best we start thinking about Christmas soon... hehehe.

For my layout I turned to photos from January this year... Aaron playing with his scooter in the puddles while it rained.

Nuts About Sketches - Week 166

It's a new week again... and it is a long week this week... we had a perfect long weekend.... from Thursday..no school or work!  What a great scrapbooking opportunity.... so I did lots and also planned lots.... going to have lots more pages to do in the school holidays coming up at the end of the week! 

So on to this week's sketch from Nuts About Sketches

The photos I used for my layout are of Aaron practicing baseball.... Daddy takes him on a Friday evening during summer.... lots of fun for the boys.

As you will notice I added in a few extra small pics... that's what happens when you take tooooooo many photos... but at least this way I get to use them!

Father's Day

Yesterday was Father's Day... hope your day was special.... my parents came over for lunch and with me making lunch and then visiting with them I didn't get a chance to post my google screen... so here is what you would have seen if you had googled yesterday....

Well did you stay up till late to see the lunar eclipse last night?  I did.... tried hard to capture it on camera too but not very successful with just a point & shoot, so not going to subject you to my photos.  BUT if you didn't see it and you are quick about it you can catch it on Google today.... here are some screen captures of what you will get....

Nuts About Sketches - Bonus 1

In May, Shawn posted a few bonus sketches which not even the design team were given... so I downloaded them and decided to do them too....here is the first one.

For my layout, I rotated the page 90 degrees and then had fun putting it all together.

Nuts About Sketches - Week 164 & 165

The wheels fell off last week on my blogging and I never got near here to post about my design team layouts... so now you can feast your eyes on two week's worth.

First up is last week's sketch from Nuts About Sketches.

I had fun creating this layout.... almost as much fun as Aaron had had when he created all these works of art from the Mister Maker videos he had been watching.

If you look closely at today's Google screen you can even see it change colour.... all in celebration of Les Paul's 96th birthday..... and who was he?.... well according to Wikipedia... a jazz musician and developer of the electric guitar.

Shoestring Scrapbooking - Design Team - Reveal 3

It feels soooooooooooo good to be creating again.... after a month long drought I have been working feverishly away and scrapping up a storm.  Here are two pages that I created for Shoestring Scrapbooking using my awesome kit I received.
