Connie Prince - Tropical Paradise

 One of my perks of being on the CT for this month is that I get to play with older kits as well... for this week I chose to play with the Tropical Paradise bundle and created a double layout.

I chose to work with Farmhouse Christmas as it reminds me of a Simple Stories kit I played with a few years back.

 It's buffet release time at Gingerscraps... chock and block full of yummy goodies, just like the kit from Connie Prince. I used it to make this layout.

Check out the Room with a View collection at Gingerscraps. I used the template, graffiti, extra papers, plaid papers as well as some bits from the kit

NiniGoesDigi - Get Outside kit

 There is a retirement sale going on at The Digital Press... it ends TONIGHT. I managed to get my hands on one last kit (called GetOutside) from NiniGoesDigi and designed a layout just to showcase this beautiful kit.

I love the soft blues and greens in the kit.... it lends itself so well to lots of layouts. So glad I managed to get it before it is gone forever from the shop.

Just Because - Tribe 12 challenge

 I follow the Just Because Studio facebook group and every now and then she has these tribe challenges. I've done a few now in conjunction with the monthly challenges at Gingerscraps. This week though I decided to just make the page for the fun of it.

The challenge was to do a patchwork background and use the extraction technique on a photo... fun stuff to do and made easier by using a patchwork inspired template from Connie Prince.

Looking forward to playing with the next challenge when it comes.

Connie Prince - 2020 November collection

 Connie has launched her newest collection #2020November.... it is jampacked full of lovely bit. I feel sooooooooo privileged getting to play with it.

I used the template that comes in the collection plus a border strip and also a messy paper.... lots of bits from all the pieces of this collection. My title is made up of a mixture of the alpha add on too. I love how Connie create huge kits with lots of bits that all work together.

New Guest CT for Connie Prince

Super excited to eventually announce that I will be a guest designer for Connie Prince for the month of November. This must be the longest kept secret ever as I found out last December already... hehehe. Can't wait to design some layouts and share with you all month long.

I've used some of Connie's minikits in challenges at Gingerscraps and really enjoy her style. Thankfully I've learnt quite a bit over the last year so am happy to be on another CT for the next month.

I will be sharing layouts at Gingerscraps, The Digital Scrapbooking Studio and My Memories... there will be LOTS of scrapping coming up in November!

Gingerscraps - October challenges

 I had such a good run at the beginning of the month with DSD that I ran out of steam for a few days. Thankfully the monthly reward (a free kit) was egging me on and I managed to get my 10 layouts done for the challenges before month end.

The Lilypad - October challenges

 Having completed the DSD challenges I still wanted to try my hand at the monthly and designer challenges at The Lilypad... however I seem to have run out of oomph and month to get these done. I did however manage to get one done:
