I've done a few of these step by step challenges over the last few months... they are really fun. So today whilst sitting at Lanseria Airport waiting for Aaron, I scrapped my layout for this month's challenge.
I will definitely try to do this again over the next few months too. Great way to put a page together quickly.
Here's my challenge layouts for this month:

These last two are from the challenges by TCOT
9 Mix It Up - use a white background - used challenge 2 from TCOT
10 Recipe - used the minikit from challenge 3 from TCOT
Finally managed to get all 10 challenges done. At one point I wasn't sure if I would but I persevered as I really like the reward this month. Phew did it.
The Cherry on Top (TCOT) is one of the designers at Gingerscraps. I follow their facebook page too. This month they have had weekly challenges that I've tried to do.
First week is a template mashup... take two templates and make one layout:
Second up is a paper to digi scraplift (entering this one in the MixItUp challenge at Gingerscraps)
The third challenge is a minikit (entering this for the recipe challenge at Gingerscraps)
And finally there is a recipe challenge.
These sure have been fun to do. The colours are soooooooooo bright in most of the TCOT kits. Not what I normally scrap with so it's good to stretch myself now and then.
EDITED 8 Oct 2020: I won this challenge... got a $10 prize to go shopping for TCOT products at Gingerscraps. I was the only one who entered all four challenges, so guess I won by default... hehehe.
Rachel launched a new kit this weekend but I didn't get to scrap with it till now... finally managed to use this lovely kit.

Another month with just two challenges, but I did them and so am happy with ticking off the to do list.
I did lots of challenges this month over at The Lilypad, for both the normal forum as well as all the designers. First up the Designer challenges:

I managed to do 5 challenges this month. There are 8 on offer but the last one you have to buy a kit to use and I find that a bit expensive so tend to ignore that challenge (hehe). I had planned on doing 7 challenges but am running out of steam before monthend, maybe next month.
Boy oh boy it's been MONTHS since I had a scrap class with Jowilna... way back in January. Covid-19 definitely put a stop to classes and such, but also my digital scrapping has taken over so I haven't even touched my paper supplies since then either. When I was invited to a special class I jumped at the opportunity.
We all scrapped with our own stash this time but did the sketch and techniques provided.... I didn't finish my layout in the class (too much chatting) so finished it today instead. Simply love how my layout turned out.
That is one more crossed off of my still to be completed layouts... hoping to get the last few finished this week when I am on leave.

It's time for a new month of kits and the Special Edition kits at The Digital Press as sooooooo pretty this month. All the designers use the same palette and design mix and match kits. I got to play with Rachel's one today called September Stories.
This is even same day scrapping... took this photo of Mom this morning whilst there on a quick visit. Spring is arriving with warmer temperatures and all her daisies are in bloom.
