Scrapbook Challenges - Flashback Friday

Yes there was a post on Friday and I missed it again.... weekend and all!  So better late than never I guess... here is my layout that I created

This page came together in my mind very quickly but actually sat on my table for over two weeks waiting to be finished... I got to use my silhouette machine to create my title and then added some extra flowers and bling for extra effect.

Remember that you can also share you layouts on the blog each month.

I've been doing a few more "Jowilna layouts" over the past months (classes and notes) and am finally  getting to put photos on my pages to get them finished... so feast your eyes on these:

I really like my pages and am finding more and more that I am changing my scrapping style to incorporate a lot more of the techniques I'm learning.... thanks so much Jowilna for the inspiration.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 445

Wow I feel like I've posted up a storm in the last week after the drough of the weeks before that...hehe.  Yip I did manage to get quite a bit of scrapping done last week... but not much this weekend.

Today's layout is one I managed to put together in about 15 minutes!

Scrapbook Challenges - Flashback Friday

Yesterday the post went live for the Flashback Friday challenge using sketch 195...

I had fun creating my page for this one... did a whole bunch of folded triangles to create the sun behind the photos.. I also added in an extra photo in the stip and changed two circles to photos too... great way to extend a page when you have lots of pics.

Scrapbook Challenge - Full House Challenge

The mid-week challenge is up and I managed to get a layout done for it... thanks to Jowilna for the great inspiration.

I used three pieces of washi tape... two just under the pictures. The third on is the "tuesday" strip under my title.
The three different alphas are in the fonts of my stamps and title
The three word art strips are stamped phrases around my page.
Added 9 enamel dots and starts scattered across the bottom of the page.

I must say I really did enjoy doing this challenge and love my finished page.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 444

We've just had a lovely weekend away at Hartebeespoort Dam and now it's back to more of a normal routine... except that tomorrow is a public holiday so at least I don't have to get up too early.

Last week I managed to do a little scrapping... even took some photos especially for this page... hehe. I used up some scraps and also coloured some doilles to add to the diecut doily I used on this page too.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 443

Okay so it's been a quiet few weeks here on my blog... I've been rather busy with work, family and a few other things... so there was not a heck of a lot of scrapping happening.  I did manage to scrap last week Monday and made the layout for today's reveal.

I started my page with the idea of four separate photos but then I found that my pics were just a tad toooo big so ended up with a strip rather... actually very chuffed with how that evolved.  Then due to having loads of photos, I also added a mini-album as well... which is really the pics about the wedding... the occasion of our dinner.

Monday Mojo - May

I got some good news to share.... I am part of the Monday Mojo run by Lisa Harris on her blog http://mykreativepursuits.com/. She posts a whole bunch of creative prompts at the beginning of the month and then ideas using them through the month... well I will post on the third Monday of the month,my take on the sketch prompt.
