Here is my last layout of my current term for Nuts About Sketches... it's been a fabulous 6 months of designing for Shawn (and thankfully I get to carry on some more!).
This page is all about the birthday presents Aaron got last year... the sketch was perfect to showcase lots of little pics.
Head on over to the blog to see more pages by the great design team from this term.

I missed last week's layout (busy with work again!) but managed to get this one done.
Check out the few layouts done by the Sketch Crew this week too... lovely ideas on how to interpret a sketch.

Nuts about Sketches - Week 279
Did you see the announcement on this week's blog post.... the new DT was posted and I'm serving once again... yippee! AND there are two other South African's serving with me this term too.... Jowilna Nolte and Jeaunes Viljoen ... it's going to be fun seeing what they create each week from 1 September!
Well back to this week's sketch... a single layout with a BIG photo space.
Aaron surprised our domestic, Isabel, one morning and snapped this photo of her. I decided to scrap it and give her a big space in my album as she does so much for us by cleaning each week so I don't have too!
But do check out the blog to see what others did with that space... lots of photos or even just one.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 357
Another Monday at Scrapbook Challenges in the midst of the Sizzling Summer of Sketches... today is the usual sketch reveal.
When I first saw this sketch I was wondering what to do with the "feathers" at the top and bottom... but then I found the patterned paper in my stash and it worked so well that the layout came together in half an hour!
Check out the blog to see even more lovely ideas of how to do this sketch.

Scrapbook Challenges - Sketch 356
August is going to be a fun crazy month FULL of sketches.... join in all month long at Scrapbook Challenges. Normal weekly reveals will be on Monday and then Tuesday to Friday there will be yet another sketch.... and I am trying to do as many of them as possible too.
So back to this week's reveal.
I decided to use the stripes as placement guides and replaced them with a whole bunch of butterflies.
Check out the blog today for great layouts from the Sketch Crew.
