Playing with Google

Today's Google pic is just toooooo cute.... I spent way tooooooooooo much time just clicking and playing on all the little bits.... so here they are to show you in case you miss it.

This is all in celebration of the creator's 90th birthday.... he evidently made these plasticine men for a tv series in the 1950s. Too cute.

Nuts About Sketches - Week 182

Where oh where is the time going.... somehow Monday came and went and I woke up today that I missed my Nuts About Sketches post.... oops.  So here it is for this week... just a few days late.

An awesome double page sketch with space for lots and lots of photos.

I decided to do an Easter layout and used some lovely papers that I ordered from the States.

This page worked so well for all the little pics that I almost had a hard time stopping myself from adding in some more.  I loved the double sided papers so used them in a variety of manners too.... yummy chocolate range!

Shoestring Scrapbooking - Design Team - Reveal 8

I feel really bad that it has taken me so long to post this layout.  This is the last layout that I made using the wonderful kit that I got from Shoestring Scrapbooking back in June.

I loved the tools on the paper from Kaisercraft but had to find just the right photos for it... and these ones of Aaron exploring the MTN Sciencentre in Cape Town were just perfect.

Nuts About Sketches - Week 177

It's the first reveal for the new design team for Nuts About Sketches.... and boy have they done a great job.  Unfortunately I was so sick over the last week that I never got to do my layout.... but it is planned so will be coming soon soon.  Here is the sketch though that you can work on.

This page is about a bunch of mushrooms that sprung up in our back garden during April... they were so very interesting to see.  I used leftovers from a previous Scrapkits page to do this layout.

Nuts About Sketches - Week 181

The first week of holiday has come and gone and we are busy counting the sleeps till Aaron comes home on Friday.  I haven't managed to get nearly as much done this holiday as I usually do, but it has been a good break so far.  Doing lots of friend visiting this week so even less is getting done... not that I'm complaining as it is great to catch up without a little guy nagging to go home!

On to this week's awesome sketch from Nuts About Sketches

I chose to scrap photos from a school event from last year.

The kids had the opportunity to get up close to a cheetah... everyone got to stroke it too.  I had sent my camera in for the day and so got some photos to record this great occasion.

I added the paw prints on to my layout using a glue rubon and then adding some gold foiling.... just a subtle yet effective detail.  The pattern paper was all out of my scraps box - yay!
